Presenter bio
Rob is an experienced policy and advocacy professional with a background in the community sector and federal politics. He has worked in policy areas including residential and commercial energy, electrification, climate adaptation and resilience, housing, and social inclusion issues. Rob led Renew’s Climate Resilient Homes campaign, successfully advocating for improved energy standards for new and existing homes. He was awarded the 2023 Gill Owen Scholarship for research into community heatwave resilience. As senior advisor at the EEC, he leads policy work on the Efficient Electric Homes Market Acceleration Plan and led research on the Commercial Buildings Electrification Roadmap.
