Presenter bio

Dr. Xinlin Wang integrates machine learning (ML) and reinforcement learning (RL) with mechanical and power systems to advance sustainable, Industry 4.0–aligned energy solutions. 
His research spans energy forecasting, smart buildings, HVAC control, anomaly detection, demand response, and digital twins, backed by an international, industry-linked portfolio across Asia, Africa, the USA, and Australia, and a strong publication record. 

He is the recipient of multiple distinctions—including Best Paper, Most Cited Paper, Young Researcher, and Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation awards—recognising both academic impact and practical significance.
